Energy Safe Victoria has launched its Electrical Roadshow, travelling to 10 locations over the next 6 weeks to meet with the electrical industry and share the latest updates to improve safety outcomes for licenced electricians and apprentices.

From July to September 2025, Energy Safe will host events across Victoria for electricians, registered electrical contractors and apprentices.

“This roadshow is about connecting with the electrical industry face-to-face and helping them understand how to meet their safety obligations, particularly as we introduce new professional development and updated apprentice supervision requirements,” Energy Safe CEO Leanne Hughson said.

Members of Energy Safe’s Electrical Installation Safety, Industry Education and Renewable Energy Safety teams will present at each session, leading discussions on:

  • the current top electrical non-compliances
  • Certificates of Electrical Safety
  • updated apprentice supervision requirements
  • continuing professional development
  • solar and battery installation.

“We’re committed to genuine engagement with the electrical industry and each session will give attendees the opportunity to meet the Energy Safe team and ask questions,” Ms Hughson said

The Electrical Roadshow will also include an online information session on 11 September for electrical workers and industry representatives who can’t attend an in-person event.

Energy Safe is exploring options to expand the roadshow next year and run similar events in more locations.
