Update published to Energy Safe 2025-28 Corporate Plan

The Corporate Plan outlines our statutory objectives, functions and activities, key priorities, performance indicators and accounting policies. Each year, we may update the plan to reflect changes in our operating environment and organisational priorities.

Rather than producing a new corporate plan this year, we have developed an update outlining revisions to the existing plan. This companion publication should be read alongside the 2025-28 Corporate Plan.

Updates include changes to:

• the key performance indicator for ground fires
• strategic domain goals and measures of success
• the year-end cash balance.

These changes respond to several key factors, including:

• improved reporting and analysis of ground fires related to electricity networks
• an increase in powerline contacts resulting in serious injuries and fatalities
• our role in approving and enforcing compliance with Network Resilience Plans.
